Rasht Valley covers the following areas: Rasht, Tajikabad, Dzhirgatal and partly Darband.
Watershed «Zerafshan»
Sogd region covers the following areas - Penjikent, Aini, Gorno-Matcha
Watershed «Vanjob»
Gorno-Badakhshan region. covers Vanj District
Watershed «Toirsu»
Khatlon Region covers Dangara district
Brief description of project areas and the degree of implementation of subprojects:
Watershed Surkhob is located at a distance of about 200 km to the east - north of Dushanbe.
The project cooperates with 3 Jamoats of Tajikabad districts and 5 Jamoats of Jirgatal districts. During the period until the end of April 2009 in Tajikabad implemented 118 subprojects, and in Jirgatal district 261 subprojects.
Zerafshan watershed is located between the southern slopes of the Turkestan and northern slopes of Gissar range.
The project cooperates with 10 Jamoats of Penjikent district, 2 Jamoats of Ayni district and 1 Jamoat of Gorno-Matcha district. By the end of April 2009, in the watershed implemented 967 subprojects.
Vandjob watershed is located at a distance of about 300 km south - east of Dushanbe.
In this watershed project works with 4 Jamoats. By the end of April 2009, from the people of jamoats proposed 155 subprojects, which are successfully implemented.
Watershed Toirsu is located in the territory of Dangara district.
The project works with 6 watershed Jamoats, and implemented 123 subprojects
